shipping: plants
all plants are shipped 2 day USPS Priority Mail.
plants are shipped without pots, with roots carefully wrapped in organic potting soil, coconut coir or spagnum moss.
please unbox your plants immediately upon delivery and pot them / plant them as soon as possible.
as much as possible, recycled shipping materials such as boxes and packing paper, will be used to ship your plants.
if you would like to help with sustainability and have nursery pots between sizes 4″ and half-gallon, please send a message before discarding them. we’ll pay the shipping to get them and will re-use them for growing more plants.
shipping: merch and apparel
apparel and other merchandise is shipped by a third party, which varies depending on product.
the customer has the option to choose their preferred shipping method.
since many items are print-on-demand, the customer may anticipate a lead time that includes production time plus shipping. print-on-demand products, such as tshirts, typically ship from the warehouse within 5-7 days.
returns: plants
returns are not accepted on plants.
we ensure that each plant is healthy and well-packaged when it ships out.
weather and the variable tribulations of shipping are elements beyond out control, and the customer is advised to consider weather conditions in their region at the time of shipping.
please read the description of each plant for information on ideal growing conditions and use the contact form to message with any questions or concerns.
although returns and refunds are not accepted, we will still work with a customer to acheive satisfaction if a plant fails and it is determined that it is not to the actions of the customer.
a potential case scenario of resolution:
Beth receives a plant in poor condition due to a shipping slow-down during a heat wave. she does everything in her power to save the plant, but the plant perishes anyway. she describes the condition of the plant when it arrived and states what she did to try to save it.
if Beth is willing to pay the cost of shipping, a replacement plant may be offered to her at no charge. it is up to Beth whether or not she accepts this offer. if she does not, she will be offered a discount code for 50% of the value of the plant, plus a 20% discount for any other items she purchases simultaneously. the discount offer is good for 90 days. if Beth declines, no further attempt at resolution will be made.
returns: merch and apparel
due to products being made to order, we don’t accept returns or size/color exchanges.
If an order is returned due to carrier error or an invalid address, the order will be reshipped. if products arrive damaged or defective, please request a replacement or ask for a refund within 30 days of product delivery. photographic proof may be required.
claims regarding orders that haven’t been received must be submitted within 30 days after the expected delivery timeframe.
processing refunds
approved refunds will be processed and credit automatically applied to your original method of payment within 14 days.
costs such as shipping and fees may be subtracted from the refund, if applicable.
refunds may take time to process and post to the original account. if the refund has not posted within the two week period, please contact the company or bank associated with the account to find out whether the payment is pending.

refunds: sale items
under certain circumstances, regular priced items may be refunded. items purchased on sale or clearance cannot be refunded.
