this is the best time to plant tropical fruit trees such as mango, lychee and starfuit.
some tropical perennials for June planting are ginger, turmeric, and papaya. heat loving plants such as sweet potato, cranberry hibiscus, and ‘summer spinaches’ such as Malabar spinach will also do well now. longevity and Okinawa spinach can be planted any time in South Florida.
